Secret Of The Week

The first secret for 2011!

And this one is different. Besides blogging about it on 1.10, I could also blog about this under my 'Confession' Label. Yes, that's how different and special this secret is.

As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to write about it. I initially selected four secrets but instead of doing what I usually do, I just chose to write on this one.

I wonder if S489 or more popularly known by its Brand name Vyvanse is as effective as, if not better than, Ritalin

Yes, I’m also kinda lazy and swamped with other priorities. But I think this secret is more than enough as it spoke to me on a very deep level and brought me back to a time when people didn't know why I was behaving the way I did.

I did not choose the secret above because of what is written on it; I chose it for the visuals on it.

Unless and until you’re familiar with S489 tablets, then it’s gonna be hard for you to understand at first what the hell is it that I am blogging about.

You see, when I was a kid, I used to take a similar medicine called Ritalin. I was on it for quite sometime - even learned how to snort by crushing them haha - and after years of medication, the doctors said I was cured. Who am I to argue with a panel of doctors who specialized on the condition that I had, eh? They said I was cured so I guess I was.

I went on this for years till I was 13 and by then, I was already an expert in snorting! LOL

But you know what, when I saw that secret, I actually asked myself if I am truly cured, y’know?

I’m asking this because until today, I am still somewhat exhibiting some of the symptoms - short attention span, lack of focus, bipolar personality, narcoleptic tendencies, procrastination, disorganized work habits, frequent shifts in conversation - that were the very reasons why I had to take Ritalin in the first place.

One of the things that I'm definitely gonna do this year is get checked again. And if indeed I still have it, then it clearly explains why I behave the way I behave.

Oh well.
