The KimChi Express

On a night when My Small Baby was frantically scouting the internet for the latest episode of the Korean Drama that she follows religiously, Man United's own Korean folk hero saved the day for the Red Devils.

Park Ji-Sung, the hardworking and a Sir Alex-favorite tactically, was at his best. He gave us the lead in the first half with a well taken goal off a great pass from Darren Fletcher.

But typical of United this season, we conceded a goal and adding insult to injury, it was a Man United old boy that inflicted the damage! Watching the game left me frustrated. I knew that we would concede a goal - we always do this year - and true enough, we did.

In previous years, such things don't matter because I've always been confident that we would bounce back late in the game. Manchester United is the best at not giving me up till the final whistle is blown and albeit subconsciously something was telling me that it would be another of those moments, I was not as confident considering how the team has been playing this season.

Just as late drama looked to have missed its cue, however, United snatched victory. In the 93rd minute, Park declined the invitation to sling a cross into a packed penalty area and instead meandered into it, outfoxed a pack of defenders and slipped a low shot inside the keeper's near post very deep into stoppage time.

Phew! And what a goal at that!

We are now 2 points off Chelsea and let's be honest; as much as I want Liverpool to win tonight's game, the Reds are not good enough to hold on to the Blues.

But you never know. In soccer, like in life, shit happens...
