It's Gonna Be A Celtics-Lakers Final Once Again

You don't need to be an expert to call this one out.

This year's NBA Finals is gonna be between the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers again. The last time these two squared off, in the 2008 Finals, the Celtics beat the Lakers 4-2 to claim their 17th title.

It's gonna be another Celtics-Lakers Finals

Barring any catastrophic meltdown by either team, they are poised to once again renew the Celtics-Lakers rivalry, unparalleled in the history of the game. As of this entry, The Celtics are leading the Magic 3-0, while the Lakers lead the Suns 2-0.

I want the Celtics to win and I think they will. Of course, I tend to be biased with my preference for the Easter Conference teams but I’ve said it before and I will say it again, if the Celtics advance to the NBA Finals, they will win it.

Don’t get me wrong, the Lakers are a formidable team. They’re the defending champions and when you have Kobe Bryant in your roster, you will always have a good chance of winning any game. But what gives the Celtics the advantage is they have more heart.

Celtics #9: He's gonna be the one to watch in the Finals

The maturity of point-guard Rajon Rondo, who wears #9, is also a plus point for the Celtics. He's blossomed, really and I have a feeling that he’s gonna be the catalyst for a Celtics win. Both are equally matched, as far as first-team players are concerned but bench wise, the Celtics have the slight edge.

Kobe

But after all said and done, and as mentioned above, the Lakers have Kobe Bryant and if there is one player that could win a championship by himself, it is Kobe. No one player has dominated the game like His Airness and Kobe is the new Michael Jordan.

My money is still with the Celtics though.
