What Kind Of A Traveller Are You?

Anyone who tells you that they don’t like to travel is lying, simple as that.

Seriously, what’s there not to like? Seeing new places, experiencing new cultures, meeting new people, seeing majestic sights and tasting new cuisines, just to name a few, makes travelling a great thing to do.

I agree that there are people who don’t like sitting in airplanes for endless hours, I don’t like it either but the experiences that we go through and the things we learn when we travel make us forget those painful hours in the airplane.

Anyways, I have always wondered how people travel. I know I’m not the best person to ask about budget travelling. I have tried going for one of those shoe-string travels but my choice of hotels is enough to get me off track.

I like having a comfortable bed and a super clean toilet in my accommodations and while it doesn’t have to be 5 star, most of the hotels that come equip with my basic mandatory are just that, 5 star.

I totally respect people who can stay in windowless rooms with common toilets. Oh, in my time, I have done that as well. When I was 18, I backpacked Europe and Asia and I stayed in those types of places.

But unfortunately, in my present life, I just can’t see myself doing that anymore. Nowadays, comfort is more important than anything and because of this, I tend to travel expensively. I’m ok with cutting down on the rest but I’m very anal with accommodations. It’s not boasting or anything like that but I just happen to like the finer things in life.

Can you blame me? Is it wrong?
