O&M Wins MAS Account!

After a long association with Leo Burnett Advertising, Malaysia Airlines (MAS) have decided to give their entire marketing communications account to Ogilvy & Mather and its media arm, Mindshare!

The MAS account is a huge win for O&M; with it, they are now the biggest agency in Malaysia. When MAS announced that they were parting ways with incumbent Leo Burnett, a total of 31 agencies sent their respective portfolios for consideration, 7 of whom were short-listed for the final pitch.

In the end, O&M managed to win the account and I just think - actually believe -that they won it out of merit. Of course, you can't stop other people and agencies from thinking otherwise but the fact remains, O&M have one of the best creative teams in the country.

Congratulations! Let's just wait and see how they would do justice to the MAS brand name but I'm sure they would do just fine...
